Stephen Ministry offers a proven and effective way to provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties.

Our Stephen Ministers are ready to listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support. A Stephen Minister will meet with you privately—by phone, by video chat, or, if safely possible, in person—to offer care and support. It’s free and completely confidential. What Is A Stephen Ministry?

Stephen Ministry is grounded in Jesus’ command to love one another. Through one-to-one caring and confidential relationships, those who are hurting receive the love and care they need to support them.

What is a Stephen Minister?

A Stephen Minister is a lay person who has received 50 hours of training in how to provide distinctively Christian care. A Stephen Minister is not a counselor, therapist, a problem solver or a casual visitor.

This confidential, Christian caregiving is a vital part of the total healing ministry of Christ’s body, the church. Stephen Ministers are trained to aid their care receivers to deal more effectively with their own situations.
