Visitor Information
Worship Services
Traditional worship service 10:30 a.m. every Sunday in the Sanctuary. These services are traditionally styled with hymns and organ music.
Parking
You will find visitor and handicapped parking in front of our building in addition to the other parking areas. Ample parking is provided on the main campus of Hibben as well as at The Oops! Company in front of Hibben, the parking lot next door to Hibben and across the street at the Bank of America building. There is a drop off circle in front of the sanctuary with handicap access as well as a covered drop off at the rear of the Education Building, which has a wheelchair lift. Directional signs are placed throughout the campus.
Entrance
You may enter the worship area through one of two double doors beneath the steeple, there you will find a Welcome Center with helpful information. Or you may enter through the covered walkway between the Chapel and the Office, which leads you to a Visitor’s Desk. You may also enter through the Education Building via the rear entrance at the Porte Cochere. Greeters will be at the doors to welcome you on behalf of the congregation, and will direct you to nurseries, Sunday School classes and the Sanctuary. Upon entering the Sanctuary, ushers will offer you worship bulletins describing the service. You may enter The Well through the front doors of the Christian Life and Learning Center which is located on Vincent Street behind the Sanctuary and Education Building.
Nursery
A staffed nursery is provided beginning at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday. Nurseries for children ages birth to pre-K is offered during the 10:30 a.m. service, and during the Sunday School hour.
Children’s Church
Children’s Church for children through 3rd grade is offered during our 10:30 a.m. services. Children are dismissed from the Sanctuary following the Children’s Minute and and may be picked up after service.
Sunday School
Sunday School for all ages is offered beginning at 9:15 a.m. There are age level classes for all children and youth as well as a variety of adult classes. Please visit our Sunday School page for more information.
Congregational Make-Up
Our Congregation is composed of all ages, from newborn infants to retirees. We have many families with children and youth. Many of our worshipers are long time citizens of Mt. Pleasant but many others are relatively new to our community.
Dress
Dress ranges from traditional Sunday attire to Lowcountry casual. You will be welcome whether in a suit or shorts.
