Worship With Us
Traditional worship is at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday in the Sanctuary. These services are traditionally styled with hymns and piano and organ music. Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome at Christ’s table.
You will find visitor and handicapped parking in front of our building in addition to the other parking areas. Ample parking is provided on the main campus of Hibben as well as at The Oops! Company in front of Hibben, the parking lot next door to Hibben and across the street at the former Bank of America building. There is a drop off circle in front of the sanctuary with handicap access as well as a covered drop off at the rear of the Education Building, which has a wheelchair lift. Directional signs are placed throughout the campus. Please see the Hibben Campus Map page for more information.
You may enter the worship area through one of two double doors beneath the steeple, there you will find a Welcome Center with helpful information. Or you may enter through the covered walkway between the Chapel and the Office, which leads you to a Visitor’s Desk. You may also enter through the Education Building via the rear entrance at the Porte Cochere. Greeters will be at the doors to welcome you on behalf of the congregation, and will direct you to nurseries, Sunday School classes and the Sanctuary. Upon entering the Sanctuary, ushers will offer you worship bulletins describing the service. Please see the Hibben Campus Map page for more information.
A staffed nursery is provided beginning at 9:15 a.m. every Sunday. Nurseries for children ages birth to pre-K is offered during services and during the Sunday School hour.
Children’s Church for children through 5th grade is offered during our 10:30 a.m. service. Children are dismissed from the Sanctuary following the Children’s Minute and return to service during the final hymn.
Sunday School for all ages is offered beginning at 9:15 a.m. There are age level classes for all children and youth as well as a variety of adult classes. Please visit our Sunday School page for more information.
Our Congregation is composed of all ages, from newborn infants to retirees. We have many families with children and youth. Many of our worshipers are long time citizens of Mt. Pleasant but many others are relatively new to our community.
